Throughout January I found myself going to Primark more than I would like to admit. I literally went at least once a week. I kept going to buy some homeware, but of course, as I was in the store I had to check out everything else. EVERY DAMN TIME. In all honesty, I cannot complain as I found some great pieces. Thus, I thought I would write up a little Primark clothing haul for you, as my ‘Fashion’ section is embarrassingly empty and I would like to fill it up with more content throughout 2018.
This year I decided to only stick to a baby pink, nude, grey, white and black colour theme when it comes to my wardrobe. I find that sticking to a limited colour scheme helps to save money. I no longer buy things that don’t match with other pieces in my wardrobe, because most of the time I either have to spend more money to find something that does match or I end up never wearing them. Thus, I picked up a couple of basic tops/jumpers by following my theme. I picked up a baby pink jumper (£5), baby pink cropped jumper (£5) and a baby pink hoodie (£7), as well as a white basic long sleeve top (£2.50) and a silver glitter yarn cardigan (£3). I recently decluttered my wardrobe and I actually needed some new tops/jumpers, so I’m very happy with these.
Next, I picked up some cute bits that I just couldn’t resist. When I saw these gemstone distressed jeans (£25), I fell in love. I was actually praying they will look good on me as they are ‘boyfriend style ankle grazer’ type of jeans and usually this kind of fit doesn’t look good on me. However, I actually love the way these look on me. I’ve been wearing them almost every day, because they are not only gorgeous, but they are super comfy. Then I picked up these absolutely gorgeous nude, pearl and gemstone embellished espadrilles (£8). Again, espadrilles are not something I would normally go for, but these are just so pretty with the pearl and gemstone detailing. I think they will be perfect for spring and summer. They also have these in grey which I think I will be picking up next time I’m in Primark.
I realised I barely have any nice accessories, so I picked up these pink sunglasses (£3), these gold rings (£2.50), as well as these clear glasses (£1) which I thought would look good as a prop in flat lays.
Then I also picked up some lingerie. Normally, I struggle to find nice bras and matching panties in Primark as being cup size E means limited choice. I find that most stores, especially Primark don’t really cater to bigger size boobs. I absolutely love some of the bras Primark sells, but they are all below size D. However, this time I managed to find something I liked, so I had to pick it up as Primark sells the most reasonably priced underwear sets. I got these 2 bras for £12 (they come in a set) and both panties for £5 (they come in a set). I’m so in love with these, especially the pink bra.
I also couldn’t resist these pinky nude booties with gold zipper detailing (£16). They are gorgeous and the picture doesn’t do them justice.
Lastly, I just picked up some other basics. I really wanted some new sports bras, as I’m planning to get back to the gym soon. Of course I picked one up in white (£4) and one in pink (£3.50). Then I got some of their plain black cotton leggings (£2.50) as I normally wear these around the house or to the gym. I also got a pair of grey super high waist skinny jeans (£9) and these really cute baby pink butterfly print pyjama bottoms.
I hope you enjoyed my first clothing haul. It was a challenging post for me as taking photos of clothing is actually really difficult, but hopefully soon I will be able to master it. Hope you’ve had a fab week!
