MAC DUTY FREE HAUL – SEPTEMBER 2017

If you watch my Instagram stories or follow me on Twitter you may already know that I recently went back home to Latvia to visit my mum. Every time I go back home I always get something from the duty free MAC counter as it’s slightly cheaper than getting the products in the store. I usually stock up on some of my staple MAC products and then I always buy a few lipsticks to expand my MAC lipstick collection.

MAC HAUL

MAC STUDIO FIX FLUID SPF15

Studio Fix Fluid is one of my all time favourite foundations. I had actually ran out of it, so I needed to get another bottle. I’ve gone through about 10 bottles of this as this foundation has amazing coverage and it matches my skin tone perfectly. I’m shade NC15.

MAC STUDIO FIX POWDER PLUS FOUNDATION

This is another staple I keep purchasing over and over again. I needed to stock up on this as I’ve almost run out. I got this in the shade NC20. Currently I’m using NC15 and I found that I actually prefer NC20 as NC15 makes my foundation look lighter which is brilliant under the eye area, but all over the face I actually prefer NC20.

MAC MATTE LIPSTICK IN STONE

I’ve wanted this shade for the longest time and I finally purchased it, because I think it’s the perfect shade for autumn. It’s a brown shade with grey undertones.

MAC RETRO MATTE LIPSTICK IN DANGEROUS

I was looking at the orange shades as I actually don’t own an orange lipstick and I wanted something different for this autumn other than burgundy, purple and brown shades. I really liked the look of So Chaud, but unfortunately they didn’t have it, so I went for Dangerous. It’s a red toned orange which is actually more wearable than So Chaud.

MAC CREMESHEEN LIPSTICK IN CREME IN YOUR COFFEE

I really liked the look of this shade as it’s similar to Velvet Teddy which is my all time favourite lipstick shade. However, this one has a shiny finish rather than matte. I thought this would be a super easy non-drying lipstick to put on when going to Uni.

MAC LUSTRE LIPSTICK IN HUG ME

This one is also very similar to Velvet Teddy and Creme In Your Coffee. It has a shiny finish, but it’s very sheer. Thus, I think it would be a lovely shade to wear on the very natural makeup days.

What are your staple MAC products?

I always try to pick something up in duty free too! Love the lip colours you chose, they all look lovely! I don’t think I’ve ever tried any of MAC’s base products, except Fix+
Hope you had a lovely time visiting your Mum.
