Today I have another healthy Halloween themed food post for you. Halloween is known for trick or treating and extreme sweet consumption. However, not all of us can or want to eat refined sugar. Thus, I decided to write about three healthy Halloween snack ideas which are not only fun to look at, but are really good for you.
These healthy Halloween snacks are great for getting into the Halloween spirit without taking up too much of your time. They are great for packed lunches, especially for kids, or even a Halloween party to impress your guests. All three snacks are vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free.
These are super cute, but also super simple, as all you have to do is draw on a pumpkin face on the mandarin with a sharpie. I also decided to make a few by sticking on some googly eyes.
These were my favourite to make and I think they came out really cute. These took the longest time to make out of the three snacks, but it was worth it because they are really yummy. I made mine using 1 green apple, some blueberries, red grapes, crunchy peanut butter, strawberries and sunflower seeds. However, you can play around with these. The most important ingredient is the peanut butter, because you need it to stick all the other ingredients together. You can also only use grapes for the eyes and the tongue and substitute the sunflower seeds with rice puffs. It’s really up to you how you make these.
These were also really simple to make. All you need to make these are some kiwis, raisins for the eyes and some almonds for the mouth and the bolts. Super simple.
Will you be recreating any of these healthy Halloween snack ideas?
