Recently, I’ve been trying to use up all my beauty products (skincare, haircare and body care) to free some space for new purchases and also for review purposes. I received the Calcot Manor Ultimate Spa Pamper Collection as one of my Christmas presents a while ago. However, as I’m not a huge floral scent kind of girl, these were buried in my body care drawer for way too long. I’ve finally completely used up all of the products in the collection, so I decided to share my thoughts on them.
Calcot Manor Orange Blossom With Orchid De-Stress Body Balm
This body balm states that it’s infused with “unique flower blend to give a calm and enriched skin nourishing experience”. It reminded me of The Body Shop body butters as it’s very similar in consistency. It’s quite thick and leaves a white cast on the skin when applied which takes some time to rub and sink in. Thus, I only used this at night. It does nourish the skin well and gives it a healthy glow. My skin was super smooth whilst using this. Despite that, I didn’t really like the scent of this which is why I wouldn’t buy this myself.
Calcot Manor The Perfect Day Hand & Body Lotion
On the bottle it says that this lotion is “a softly-scented daily moisture boost, infused with papaya, lemon and vitamin E”. I actually enjoyed the scent of this as it smells like lemons. It was also very moisturising, yet sank in the skin super fast making the application super quick. I enjoyed using this in the morning. However, I wouldn’t buy this myself either as I’ve used better body lotions before.
Calcot Manor The Perfect Day Shower & Bath Gel
Apparently it’s a “luxuriously refreshing, moisture-rich foaming gel, infused with papaya, lemon and vitamin E. This also has the same soft lemon scent as the hand & body lotion which I liked. However, I didn’t find it luxurious, nor moisture rich. It was just a basic shower gel which I ran out of in two weeks. I wasn’t impressed, so I wouldn’t buy this myself.
Calcot Manor Orange Blossom With Orchid De-Stress Body Buff
The body buff has the same scent as the body balm which I didn’t really like. It’s a creamy body scrub with tiny granules which help to remove dead skin cells. This did feel luxurious, but it was too gentle for my liking. I think if you have sensitive skin, this would be great for you as it leaves the skin very soft, moisturised and with a healthy glow. However, this was a miss for me.
Calcot Manor The Perfect Day Body Scrub
This body scrub is also infused with papaya, lemon and vitamin E, therefore it has the soft lemon scent which I like. It’s very similar to the body buff as it’s a creamy body scrub with tiny granules which help to remove dead skin cells. However, this one did feel slightly more coarse on the skin, but still way too gentle for my liking. I wouldn’t buy this myself. Personally, I enjoy this £1 body scrub a lot more.
Calcot Manor The Perfect Day Hand Wash
I used up the hand wash before I made this blog which is why it doesn’t appear in the photo. There’s not much to say about it though, because it’s just a hand wash. It didn’t dry out my hands, but it wasn’t anything special.
Calcot Manor Patchouli & Lavander De-Stress Bath Salts
This was the product I enjoyed the most from this set. It made my baths feel more luxurious as it gave them a nice scent and made the water really soft. I would actually buy the salts myself if you can buy them separately from the set.
The set also came with a wash cloth and a body puff. They are both really good quality and I’ve enjoyed using them. The body puff has lasted me longer than any other body puff has. Although the actual products were not my favourite, I am very grateful to have been given these as a present.
I mainly didn’t like them because they don’t have a scent that I would go for myself, but they are not bad products at all. If you like floral scents and these sound good to you, I do recommend trying them as they are fairly inexpensive products. They also make for a great gift. If you’re interested in any of these products, you can browse them here.
