SPACEMASKS REVIEW

Spacemasks reviewSpacemaks is yet another brand I’ve been seeing all over my Instagram feed recently. I don’t know about you, but when I see a product over and over again, I have to try it. Therefore, I was over the moon (see what I did there) when the lovely Harriet from Spacemasks actually contacted me offering me to try a Spacemask*. I couldn’t say no, so fast forward a few days and it was sitting in my post box.

What are Spacemasks?

Spacemasks are disposable, self-heating eye masks infused with iron powder and essence of jasmine. Each eye mask is designed to “transport you to another dimension whilst relieving tiredness, eye strain and many other Earthly tensions” for approximately 15 minutes.

Personally, I often wear contact lenses which make my eyes very dry and tired. Sometimes contact lenses also give me a headache. Knowing that there’s a product out there that can relieve this in 15 minutes is a great feeling.

What makes Spacemasks so amazing is the fact that they are great for everyone. I mean, had a long day at work and just want to relax? Use a Spacemask. Studying hard for exams and want to relieve that exam stress? Use a Spacemask. Travelling long distance? Use a Spacemask. Have kids that are driving you crazy? Use a Spacemask. Can’t fall asleep? Use a Spacemask. Struggling to figure out what to gift someone? Buy a Spacemask.

Spacemasks review

What I love most about Spacemasks?

The one thing that really stood out to me about these eye masks is how comfortable they are. I know, you’re probably thinking: ‘self-heating eye mask that helps you relax and you’re talking about comfort?’. Yes. I used to study Product Design for two years and ergonomics still haunts me till this day. These bad boys look like regular sleep masks, except they are so much more comfortable. Instead of that really annoying band that wraps around your head, you get two loops that fit around your ears. The two loops are really stretchy and lightweight, so you can barely feel them. I like that because you can actually use them as a sleep mask afterwards. It doesn’t move about easily and doesn’t irritate your eyes or your scalp when you’re sleeping, and it perfectly blocks out the light.

Do Spacemasks actually relax you?

Yes, unless you don’t like heat on your face. I used this right before I wanted to head to sleep. When I first put the eye mask on, I wasn’t impressed, but after three minutes my body just felt super lightweight and I was able to think very clearly. After I took off the eye mask, I actually felt very refreshed and in fact stayed up for a few more hours.

I actually shared this with my husband. He didn’t really enjoy it much, because he hates heat on his face. I have to give it to him, because he told me this beforehand, but he still gave it a chance. He said that if there was something like this for the neck or ankles, he would love it.

Where can you purchase Spacemasks?

You can buy a pack of 5 Spacemaks for £15 on their website here.

You might think £15 is quite pricey for disposable eye masks. However, they work out at £3 each which is very reasonable.

Spacemasks is still a fairly new brand, but I love how innovative they are with their branding and I definitely recommend trying them out.

The packaging is so nice! I feel like for me it will be love or hate with these, but I’m always looking for new things to try and for £15.00, it’s not too expensive! Will have to order some soon.

The price tag is definitely not too bad, especially when most disposable face sheet masks which you put on for 15-20 minutes are about £3 each, so works out around the same. Let me know if you do lovely <3

This sounds good! I wish I could get one here in the Philippines. I always have a long day at work, and I think this is a good way to pamper even at home.
